Rank needs a sample

One answer ranks you once. Answers vary from run to run, so the tracker repeats each question every week (3 runs on ChatGPT and Gemini) and shows the average with the number of answers behind it. A move only counts when it is larger than run-to-run noise.

Who ranks above you, and why

For every question where a competitor is named and you are not, the Competitors view lists the answers, the engines and the sources each answer cited, so you can see what the brands above you have that you do not. See the full AI visibility tracker.

Questions and answers

How do you rank brands inside an AI answer?

By the order in which they are first named. Rank 1 is the brand the answer names first. We report your average rank over every answer that names you, with n.

Is AI rank the same as a Google ranking?

No. A Google ranking is your position in a list of pages. An AI rank is your position in the answer's recommendation. We track both: your rank inside answers, and your Google rank for the searches the AI ran.
