Why one run is not enough

AI Overviews change from one search to the next. When we ran the same question twice on the same day, the two overviews shared only 24% of their cited sources. A single snapshot can make you look absent when you are not, or present when you rarely are. Weekly tracking repeats each question and reports the rate with its interval.

Does every search show an AI Overview?
No. We record the searches where Google showed none as their own outcome, so your mention rate is never diluted by searches without an overview.
Can I check one keyword for free?

Which location does Google use?
The city centre of your market as coordinates, so a Cape Town plumber is checked as a searcher in Cape Town, not as South Africa at large.
